By Ellen Goldbaum Published September 6, 2023 BUFFALO, N.Y. — Treating newly diagnosed Type 1 diabetes patients with semaglutide (trade names Ozempic, Wegovy and Rybelsus) may drastically reduce or even eliminate their need for injected insulin.
