How do you reduce instances of comparing yourself to others? : r/simpleliving
Breaking free of the work/spend/borrow cycle in order to live more fully, sustainably, and cooperatively. I've heard that "comparison is the thief of joy," and I've found that to be true. I'm not on social media (other than reddit!), and I think that's a huge help. What other methods/practices do you employ to reduce the likelihood that you'll compare yourself to others? How do you stay happy with what you presently have? Self- acceptance! On every step of your life you are faced with multiple options. You make conscious decision of choosing your the path you are on after careful considerations. Validate those choices and you are good to go.
