I've spent a great deal of time in the past three weeks helping people to create their semester plans . While doing this, it's become clear to me that many people are great at making a list of goals, but remain unclear how to connect their goals to time, and how to make their plan work on a day-to-day, week-to-week basis. In other words, a semester plan is unlikely to be useful if it is only a statement of goals that won’t be touched again until the end of the semester.
