Last July, Microsoft released Speaker Coach in Microsoft Teams. Speaker Coach provides private, personalized feedback on your speaking and presentation skills in real time and at the end of your meetings as a summary (screenshot below), visible only to you. Teams leverages AI to help speakers (professionals, students, and anyone practicing a speech or who wants to improve their speaking skills) become confident, engaging, and efficient with their presentation skills; it evaluates your pitch, pacing, informal speech, euphemisms, use of filler words, inclusive language and culturally sensitive terms, and it detects when you’re being too wordy or reading too much text from a slide.
