McMaster-Janssen Diverse Future Leaders Program 2024 - DeGroote School of Business
Leaders of tomorrow require a new set of capabilities. Through a unique experiential learning approach facilitated by McMaster University and Janssen Inc. (Janssen), the Diverse Future Leaders Program helps early-career researchers and clinicians build awareness of career opportunities in a variety of settings (industry, hospital, academia, entrepreneurship), learn about key skills required for new graduates (with a focus on diverse and inclusive leadership practices), build up their network, and apply the knowledge and skills they learn to either a leadership project or internship at Janssen. The program is free for all participants. The program will run from January 16 to July 28, 2023. It includes weekly sessions with leaders from industry, academia, entrepreneurship and hospital settings and monthly workshops to help early-career leaders develop skills in building transformational and inclusive environments.
