Literally none of what is described in that comment applies anywhere outside a few select cities in the USA. It's a nice comment, but 99.9999% bullshit Yeah. The Wikipedia page linked elsewhere in the thread is much more accurate with regard to variance in cities. Eg, in a lot of cities, a drive is certainly not a "private, winding road". Wikipedia's article describes it as being a very broad category for roads (ie, could be pretty much anything). I'm British and a lot of it made sense to me. Well it shouldn't as it is wrong, the definition of an Avenue is a tree lined road for starters.
