Editor’s note: Today, the Google AI Blog featured a detailed look at a collaboration between Google, X, and the Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics to release a new open source library to improve the efficiency of tensor calculations. Many of the world’s toughest scientific challenges, like developing high-temperature superconductors and understanding the true nature of space and time, involve dealing with the complexity of quantum systems.
