You know, I read your comment, and thought it was probably an overstatement. So I went in and read the article, and boy was I wrong. I didn’t realize I could hate anything as much as I hate this project. “This is not living recklessly, but it can be living breathlessly” I lived near SF for a few years. That city is flooded with people who think and talk like this. It was insufferable. Thats reason number 1 I left SF. I found the tech culture fucking insufferable. When my ex got a job at LinkedIn I was pumped for her till I started meeting her coworkers and spouses. It sucks too because there's a lot to love about the Bay. But the people there are so up their own ass that it's hard to enjoy. Oakland had similar problems but I enjoyed it a lot more than SF. That city is flooded with people who think and talk like this.
