Welcome IN! This is a page that will help you get started as a new engineer on the UMP team as fast and smooth as possible, so that you can configure your access and start with the Hadoop ecosystem at LinkedIn. Please note that in order to keep things up to date we will try to provide as many links to other sources as possible vs trying to write specific steps or guidelines in this particular document. Before you begin please make sure to download "Bootcamp cheat sheet" from go/nebc. This document contains all the up-to date instructions on how to set up SSH, how to work with code at LinkedIn, how to review code, etc. Later on this page I will refer to it as "Bootcamp cheat sheet". In the "Bootcamp cheat sheet" please complete the "SSH SETUP" section. Make sure the following lines (especially Ciphers) are in ~/.ssh/config, otherwise ssh can't be established to servers.
