It’s been almost half a decade and I haven’t written a reflection about this blog yet. So today, on the last day of 2025, I thought: “It’s time.” If you haven’t talked to me in the last 4 years I would tell you that I took a leave from college, got some internships, became disillusioned, went back to college, graduated, moved to a new city, and learned how to be an adult. But if you’ve been reading my Substack this whole time, I would tell you I still don’t feel that much more of a writer, I still have no idea what I’m doing, and “Yeah I know, this post isn’t in lowercase.” Confused, lost, opinionated, internet-addicted, and having only a vague idea of what Substack was from a vaguely tech community called Reboot during the height of COVID, I decided: “It’s time.” I wasn’t sure what this was going to be, what I was going to write about, or if it would last.
