We are a neighborhood of 170,000 people in the most-diverse county in the United States. This is a highly moderated sub. Tl;dr- it appears the 114 precinct doesn't want ppl to actually attend these meetings, so we should all attend. Sector B is Astoria North & includes Astoria Park, so even if that's not your zone, you may have issues you want addressed (drag racing on Shore or Astoria Blvds anyone?) It's at Bohemian Beer Hall so you can grab a drink when done. Invite a friend! Doors 6pm, start 6:30. Background: Our cleanup group found this flyer on the ground near the precinct. None of the local pols (Costa, Gianaris, Mamdani) or Community Board 1 knew about the meeting. (Yes I checked with them.) There were no tweets or posts about it.
