A while ago I was looking for articles on cross-subcultural and cross-personality communication to post to r/erisology . I found this one about how to manage tech nerds in the workplace. While I liked it, reading it was perplexing. It’s a description of IT people’s attitudes to work and how different they supposedly are. But it doesn’t make sense to me. It’s so obvious that it makes me think “who needs to be told this?” There’s just not a lot there besides “don’t be dysfunctional”. Sure, there is a lot of dysfunction in the workplace
