We built RESERVOIR because we believed early-stage startups working at the intersection of agricultural resilience and rugged physical AI needed a different kind of home: real fields for startups to test/learn real grower partners real operators real pressure to build things that actually work 🌶️ So we started from first principles. We asked what founders need, what growers will actually use, and what it would take to build at Salinas scale and useful to agriculture far beyond it. Reservoir Farms came out of that work. Western Growers and Hartnell College helped shape the concept. Tanimura & Antle and Naturipe Berry Growers, Inc. stepped up as grower partners.
