During school, I was often taught to think about what I like doing, what I don't like doing, and what I am passionate or curious about. "Do what you love", "Follow your passion", or "Follow your curiosity" are some of the mantras that mentors/coaches/peers often told me as I figured out what I wanted to do with my life. But I didn't actually know what my true passions or curiosities were to find the work that align... No one taught me how to uncover them either... How exactly do I figure this out then? How exactly do I follow my curiosity to find the work that fits me? Throughout the past three years of building a business from no experience, I have realized that I will never know what I actually love or what I am actually curious about until I put in the effort to find it. And effort here often means trying it out, implementing it, failing, and trying again. I will not likely find the thing I want to do by simply thinking about what I like/love/am curious about, especially at an age w
