I've recently become quite convinced that the future of the Ethereum Rollup is actually a hybrid of the two primary approaches (ZK and Optimistic). In this post I'll try to explain the basic gist of the architecture that I'm imagining and why I believe it's the best path forward. Please note that I spend most of my time working on Optimism, an Optimistic Rollup, but I'm not a ZK expert.
