me as a smol child, unbeknownst of all the adventures i’d soon experience :’) i have always loved coming of age stories, and i often reflect on my own. while i was growing up in my highly-insignificant-middle-of-nowhere hometown*, i experienced many firsts during my coming of age: falling in love for the first time, finding true belonging in friendships, and slowly coming to new realizations about myself. not all of it was good though - i also went through my first breakup, lost friends here and there, and became more aware of my personal trauma and flaws. there was however, one feeling…
