In part 1 of this post, we talked about which channels are most effective for getting in the door and did an analysis of those channels along two axes: effectiveness and how much control you actually have. Here’s a quick summary. In the quadrant above, you can see that while getting contacted by an in-house recruiter is very effective, whether you get contacted or not is largely out of your hands.
