When Michel Guérin and Frederik Paulsen met in 2005, they immediately shared their love of adventure and books. For Michel, the dream had come true; he had created his publishing house ten years earlier in Chamonix and could boast a catalogue of around a hundred red books whose stories filled the imagination of mountain dwellers. With Frederik Paulsen, the dream could go even further, venturing into the vast expanses that this polar regions enthusiast loved to travel and wanted to preserve. It is often from an encounter that beautiful things are born. Today, Paulsen Publishing continues this shared dream by publishing the stories of those who rub shoulders with the world, who travel all around the planet.
