I'm a quantitative researcher at Jane Street in New York City by day. At night, I tinker with random coding projects, read a lot, and enjoy listening to people's stories. Hello! I'm Wanqi Zhu, a quantatative researcher at Jane Street. Before that, I studied CS Theory at Stanford. I'm fascinated by algorithms, causal inference, optimization, and designing beautiful systems. I spend much of my thinking time building up a mental model of the world. I have a soft spot for nature and abstract photography, and I cherish the simple complexity arising out of the game of Go.
