Amy Booth 2y Report this post 🌍Climate change is the biggest global health threat of the 21st century. 🩺5% of the world's carbon footprint comes from healthcare. Despite this, research shows that only 15.9% of medical schools globally include training on climate change. While a survey of UK medical students found that only 1.8% felt they had been taught about sustainable healthcare - how to practice medicine in a way that does not harm the environment. At the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences - University of Oxford University of Oxford , we noticed this gap in education. We
