I have been in Toronto for a month now, with three left to go, and it does feel like I’m better suited to this city. It has so much of the creative community and food and walkability that I am so grateful for. After two years I’m coming to terms that Seattle isn’t what I imagined it would be for me, along with the fact that by the end of this year when all the days have been accounted for I’ll have been out of the city for more time than I have been in it. I’m loving this summer for reminding me of the feeling to aim for. There’s a farmers’ market outside my doorstep every Tuesday afternoon and I cried while calling my mom the first time I entered a T&T supermarket.
