The Leduc 021 and 022 was the creation of an aviation genius. You’d be right of course; all these people produced radical designs that influenced aviation history. However, there would be one person would be missing from that list: French designer René Leduc. In the 1950s Leduc created the prototype of an aircraft that used a unique propulsion system and looked so futuristic that it seemed to have escaped from the pages of a Dan Dare comic strip.
