The essential problem with blocks is that they’re hard to see and harder to articulate, so might take you a while to be able to identify them at all. Here are a couple of mine: I was, for a long time, very sensitive to rejection. I still exposed myself to it, because it’s impossible to go through life without risking rejection, but there were definitely things I avoided because they felt too risky/guaranteed to cause pain. Sharing writing publicly was one of these things.
