"I've always used whatever I have at my fingertips to make things more colorful," Audrey says. "Color makes me happy." Nowadays Audrey and her husband, Sam, own and run the Blackberry River Bistro in Canaan, Connecticut. He does most of the cooking, and she's a trained pastry chef.
