The Northeast Center for Tradeswomen’s Equity (NCTE) is a program of Building Pathways that’s dedicated to helping women find careers in the union building trades. We’re committed to: Increasing gender and ethnic diversity in the construction trades Providing an insider’s roadmap to finding and applying for building trades union apprenticeship programs Finding qualified workers for Union Apprenticeship Programs Helping Massachusetts workers and families achieve a better quality of life As a part of Building Pathways, NCTE plays an important role in increasing the pipeline of diverse workers in unionized construction by connecting women, particularly women of color, with opportunities to make life-long, family-sustaining careers in the union building trades. Through our flagship Tradeswomen Tuesdays outreach events, women in the industry gather on a monthly basis to share their experiences with women career seekers, build community, enhance the visibility of tradeswomen, promote the adv
