The Cognitive Space Adiabatic - ∞-Modal
To understand cognitive space one first must understand systems space. Systems space is an abstract space, kind of like a topological space or manifold, but probably some notion of higher ∞-cosmos. This space has as points systems, all systems are in this space, and traveling through this space is akin to changing your system. Everything from moving your arm, to adding a part to a machine, to a part breaking in a machine, to driving from one location to another, is a motion in systems space. Now cognitive systems are different, and for simplicity we will define cognitive systems as autopoietic systems that can host and interpret representations. Take that however you wish, but for now, cognitive space is the space of systems that are autopoietic and host representations, so cognitive space is a subspace of systems space. Now, things like thinking, are, as I see it, moving around representations as they are hosted upon structures of neural activations. In this sense thinking is changing
